Around the Inn
Explore the exceptional heritage of our region
A region steeped in history
Ideally located in the heart of the Crise valley, Restaurant La Louvière is the perfect starting point to discover the treasures of the Soissons region. Between medieval castles, majestic abbeys, and lush nature, extend your gastronomic experience with a rich cultural immersion.

The Castle and Park of Septmonts
It is the jewel of our village. Right next to the inn stands the proud Septmonts Keep (14th century), former country residence of the bishops of Soissons with its unique Renaissance architecture. Its picturesque park and arboretum, once praised by Victor Hugo during his visit, offer a perfect bucolic stroll to work up an appetite or digest after a hearty meal.

Soissons, City of the Vase
First capital of France, the city of Soissons is full of architectural wonders. Do not miss the imposing ruins of the Saint-Jean-des-Vignes Abbey, whose impressive stone spires dominate the city, or the majestic Saint-Gervais-et-Saint-Protais Cathedral. Stroll along the banks of the Aisne and discover the rich history of the city known as the "City of the Vase".

The Chemin des Dames & The Dragon's Cave
An essential memorial site of the First World War, the Chemin des Dames offers poignant historical routes. The visit to the Dragon's Cave, a former stone quarry transformed into a massive strategic underground barracks, is a striking experience that helps understand the region's history.

The Champagne Route
Did you know that the south of the Aisne department is part of the prestigious Champagne appellation (Marne Valley)? It's the perfect opportunity to meet local winemakers, discover their troglodyte cellars, and taste exceptional vintages before returning to the Inn's table for a memorable food and wine pairing.
